Just over a week ago, Gov. Moore ducked out of an emergency exit to avoid questions about taxpayer money going to nonprofits. The Governor’s Chief of Staff is leaving to run a nonprofit that will be paying him approximately $500,000 per year. Check out my recent podcast episode covering this debacle.
Prior to becoming Governor, Moore became wealthy running a nonprofit called The Robin Hood Foundation.
Moore Waste
Gov. Moore went to Asia in an attempt to bring business to Maryland. So far, he has nothing to show for it, except for a $322,000 bill-- one which Maryland taxpayers are footing.
Gov. Moore took 19 people with him, flying 'business class', stayed at $600-per-night hotels. It is estimated that each person who attended could have easily gone for $6,000.
The ruling class in Annapolis doesn't care about how much it costs you. They continue to expect you to pay for their lavish lifestyles in the form of exorbitant taxes & fees.
